Digital Job Exploration - Working At A Library

Today, let's take a look at a digital job exploration, wherein, your young one who is in his/her way to exploring and figuring out their career or vocation, takes a hands-on look at what involves working in a library. This is a digital download created by teacher-author, Autism The Teen Years.

There are many activities in this digital resource, let's take a look:

Book returns - libraries have their own way of arranging books and each book is labelled with many alphabets. In this activity, he/she has to arrange the books that have been returned to the library in their correct places on the shelves. This involves reading the alphabet chain on the book and arrange in a sequence starting with the alphabet that comes first. For example,
ADHTYU comes before HYTGFR
and similarly,
ACDTYU comes before ADHTYU

Organize the magazines by name and also by dates/months

Stamp the due date - The date the book is loaned is given and he/she has to mark the due date that falls after two weeks

Enter customer information - a good way to practice data entry.

The best thing about this resource are the editable slides that are provided for all the types of activities, you can create your own variations and give a personalized experience for your young adult. I hope you found  this review helpful.
