Fun With Directions App

Fun with directions app from the house of Hamaguchi apps is a really good way to work on improving auditory processing, thinking skills, comprehension and visual skills as well as fine motor skills. Developed by Patti Hamaguchi, a speech therapist with many years of experience, this app was an instant hit in our home. Let's take a look:

This app covers ten concepts in three levels of difficulty. The concepts are:
Give, Touch, Open, Close, Push, Top, Bottom, Middle, Erase and Colour.

Coming to the levels of difficulty, they offer a wide range. For example, simple ones like, 'Touch the house' to more complicated one like, 'Colour the place you live in' to complex ones like,' Use your red crayon to colour the large one that has doors, windows and a roof'.

I particularly loved the unique directions covered in this app that I have rarely come across in other apps. Some of them are - 'Touch the middle drawer of the Blue Dresser' and the other example I can quote from memory is 'Touch the big, green dominoes from the right side to make them fall'.

The graphics are good and the excellent variety of  auditory directions make this app a good choice for our children. But don't just take my word for it, take a look at the video promo of the app, then try out the lite version of the app if you're still not sure.
