The nuts and bolts come in four colours - Blue, Green, Red and Yellow and in three shapes - circle, triangle and square. You can start off by asking your kiddo to match them correctly. They are quite big and sturdy and can even be handled by a child with budding fine motor skills.
Once he/she is comfortable with that, introduce the activity cards. You kiddo has to join the nuts and bolts corresponding to the exact colour and shape as specified on the activity cards.
